Story: Tigers Eye is one that I have been drawn in times that I am greatly moving into feeling more empowered, while simultaneously letting go of limiting beliefs and feelings I held about myself. Story: The very first person we added to our Lovingthyselfrocks team is Joels best friend Billy. Story: In my life I have always felt the most attracted to sunstone in times when I was depressed or my mood was down. I have found when I work with sunstone I begin to feel more joy and direct myself towards what brings me joy to lighten my mood or even enjoy some laughter.
To Use: Meditate with sunstone and imagine the last time you were truly happy. What experience did that look and feel like to you? How can you bring more of that into your life now? Once you get out of your meditation, choose then what you'd like to do to experience more joy, laughter, and optimism!

There are 6 Clair's that I truly believe we all have. However, these psychic gifts may be stronger in certain senses.
Personally, I receive most of my information through an inner knowing, which is known as claircognizant. Throughout my human journey I have awakened all 6 of my Clair's through practice and awareness. This has really helped me feel more guided and aligned with my higher self at all times. There are amazing crystals that can help enhance these gifts to allow you to feel and trust that guidance within. Below I will explain in detail the 6 Clair's and Crystals that help strengthen your psychic gifts!
1. Clairvoyant
Clair (Clear) Voyant (Seeing)
Clairvoyants are those that experience clear seeing.
You may see people's auric fields, see vivid dreams, a vivid vision of a place, event, or person to go see.
You are usually very imaginative and creative.
I personally experience my clear seeing through visions during my meditations. I can see the vision of my future and what exactly it looks like, almost appears as a painting. I can see my own energy field and colors within my body. There's truly so many ways one can experience clear seeing and as you practice and observe you'll notice these senses a lot more!
2. Claircognizant
Clair (Clear) Cognizant (Knowing)
Claircognizant are those that experience clear knowing.
You may experience this inner knowing through being spontaneous by knowing where to go or who to see at any given moment.
You may receive answers without any context, typically a simple "yes or no."
Typically you are full of limitless ideas and can pick up skills easily.
If you've experienced deja vu, this is also an inner knowing that cannot be explained.
I personally experience my clear knowing throughout my entire day. If I am unsure of something I ask and wait to know the answer. My response to people is "I'm not sure why, but I just know." The more I trust my inner knowing the more I feel aligned and guided. I have learned to understand if it's my inner knowing or a program by the definitive answer I get and not "what if" scenarios or fears of the past. Following this inner knowing is always what sets me free. One of my favorite knowings is how I met my husband. Ever since I was really little I was always told that I would date the love of my life for a year and that's how I would know he was the one I came here to meet and be with for the rest of my life. I would date people for 1 month at maximum and when I met my husband it was different. Everything about him was what my entire soul knew was the one for me. My husband will tell you the day he met me he knew I was the one. I was only 18, so being so young and having made it to the year mark with him scared me, yet I knew he was the one. We have been together for 10 years now, married for almost 4, and a precious baby boy on the way. Later on we found out we indeed chose each other in this life and we are twin flames, but I didn't know this information until years later. I did however trust that inner knowing and that's the most beautiful thing you can do in this human journey even when it feels so unknown.
3. Clairaudient
Clair (Clear) Audient (Hearing)
Clairaudient are those that experience clear hearing.
You may experience hearing messages through voices from your angels, spirit guides, or higher self.
You may receive messages through songs that only you can hear and interpret.
Typically those who are clairaudient can communicate with animals.
You may hear buzzing or ringing in your ears.
I personally experience my clear hearing through music. Ever since I was little I would hear music that no one else could hear, loudly too, as if I was playing it on my headphones. I didn't understand it at the time or have anyone else who I surrounded myself with to understand it either, so I shut it down for many years. Within the past couple of years I have reawakened that beautiful psychic gift within me and always hear music anytime I am unsure of a decision I need to make or the unknown I am walking into. I will hear it, sing it, and immediately smile because it's always the message I needed to hear.
4. Clairsentient
Clair (Clear) Sentient (Feeling)
Clairsentient are those that experience clear feeling.
You may experience goosebumps for what feels like "no logical reason."
You tend to be more sensitive to your environment, those around you, or certain energies in your home or others.
Ironically, you love to experience things instead of discussing about them or reading about them. You may enjoy discussing about them after the experience.
You may have strong gut feelings.
I personally experience this sense throughout almost any given day. I can sense when the energy of our home is stagnant, stuck, off, etc. I absolutely love using palo santo or sage throughout our house daily for this reason. I typically buy new things because I sense the energy of the previous owner. I have found it to be very beneficial to live extremely intentionally with everything I do because of this sense. It empowers me to have my outer world be a reflection of my inner world.
5. Clairalient
Clair (Clear) Alient (Smelling)
Clairalient are those that experience clear smelling
You may smell a specific scent that you recognize in a loved one who has passed away.
You may smell things that no one else around you is, giving you the guidance you needed.
I personally have experienced strong scents of things that weren't around me at the time. Although I am not always sure the "why" I know it's guiding me through a loved one who is near or even an experience I am meant to take on. Out of all of the senses, this is the one I experience the least, however, some may experience this as their primary! Embrace it, it's a beautiful gift.
6. Clairgustant
Clair (Clear) Gustant (Taste)
Clairgustant are those that experience clear taste.
You may taste something in your mouth, without having put anything in your mouth.
This "taste" may signal a memory, a sign from your loved one who has passed, or guidance from your spirit guides.
I personally experience this sense through guidance of what my body needs. I may "taste" fresh air, which tells me it's time to enjoy time outside in nature or I may "taste" something that sparks a memory as a child, reminding me to do something fun or creative that my inner child would find so much joy in.
Spend about 10 minutes or more a day in meditation to connect within using any of the crystals suggested below! You can place them on your third-eye, crown chakra, or hold the crystal in your hand. Always listen to your intuition first when it comes to which crystal is best for you and where to place it.

From my personal experience, Moldavite is hands down the most powerful, highly vibrational tektite there is. Think of Moldavite like a portal to higher dimensions. Moldavite carries the frequency and information to help you ascend to what is next and new in your life. For some this may stir up trauma that has been stored in the body to be released, it may help you manifest the job you desire quicker, begin a spiritual awakening, or even activate your DNA to remember what your purpose is and what you came here to do in this lifetime. It's important to be very intentional when using moldavite, if not it can feel very intense and ungrounding which may you push away from using moldavite all together. Below I want to discuss moldavite in a way that allows you to understand its incredible energy without feeling scared of it based on what others have shared on social media. Remember, you are a spiritual being have a human experience, the power is always within you and begins with you. Moldavite is simply a tool we have been blessed with to help us navigate this experience along the way. If you are currently drawn to it, embrace that resonance with it!
Story: I truly believe crystals were the beginning of my spiritual awakening and remembering who I am and what I came here to do. When my husband and I started Lovingthyselfrocks, one of the very first crystals (or in this case it was a tektite) that he was drawn to was moldavite. He didn't know why, but he had to have it. At the time, Moldavite was about 1/3 of the price that it is now, so we began collecting many very large pieces. As we began to work with them we felt this intense out-of-body rush of energy, which now I know is known as the "moldavite flush." We began working with it to create the life of our dreams, and our reality began shifting very quickly! This was the exciting part that most people love about moldavite. As I began to hold more light in my body, it became time to let denser energies go, which most humans refer to as trauma. Trauma is not an easy process to move through, but it's always worth it. Moldavite was a big contributor to helping me activate that releasing process. I have received numerous downloads of channeled information from moldavite that has had me mind blown! I really have so many stories with moldavite that I could write a whole book on it and is why my husband and I are so passionate about it!
To Use: As mentioned in the beginning of this blog, it's important to be very intentional when using moldavite. There are an abundant ways to go about using moldavite, but for the sake of this blog I will stick to working with moldavite to manifest your dreams. Once you know exactly what you for-see for your future (be very specific), take the time to go within and meditate on it to see it, feel it, and believe it to be true while holding your moldavite on your heart or on your hand.

Have you been attracted to a certain crystal shape lately? Or maybe have the urge to work with a certain crystal shape and don't know why? Below, I will explain the basic 10 crystal shapes, their energy, and how to work with them.

Shape: Typically rough, but some raw crystals have natural points, double terminations, or clusters with them.
Energy: The energy is typically highly vibrational, as they are directly mined from mother nature.
How to Use: Depending on the size, small raw crystals, like the pyrite shown above, are great for keeping in your pocket throughout the day. The larger the piece the more you will use them with intention in a space of your home. Smaller pieces are also great for grid work.
Shape: A rock that has been placed in a rock tumbler for an extended period of time.
Energy: Very gentle and soothing.
How to Use: The perfect beginner stone. Great for keeping in your pocket or bra throughout the day, using during travel, a crystal grid, or meditation.
Shape: A crystal that has been cut into a perfectly symmetrical spherical shape.
Energy: Emits energy equally out in all directions, giving out a soothing and whole energy.
Sacred Geometry: Balance, Equality, Oneness, Wholeness, and Cycles of Life
How To Use: During a meditation in your hands or during a massage to move stuck or stagnant energy.
Shape: A flat bottom with faceted sides that join into a perfect point at the top.
Energy: The energy flow from the bottom to the point, when using points you can direct the flow of energy that you desire.
How to Use: In the center of your crystal grid, or during a healing session by intentionally directing the flow of energy by either facing the point toward to bring in healing energy or away from you to remove any excess or unwanted energy.
Shape: Perfect points at two terminated ends of the crystal. This can be carved into this shape or form naturally like in herkimer diamonds.
Energy: Receives energy from one side and released energy from the other.
How to Use: They can be used to provide consistent energy flow on the body, maintaining high energetic vibrations, or bringing your chakras into alignment.
Shape: A flat bottom with an irregular round formation at the top.
Energy: Gentle, soothing energy.
How to Use: Place in a space of your home with intention. You can also use freeforms as the center piece of your altar or crystal grid.
Shape: Similar in shape as a palm stone, where it is smooth all the way around but on one side has an indention for your thumb.
Energy: A soft, soothing, peaceful, gentle energy.
How to Use: When placing pressure on the exact area of your thumb, you are using the massage technique called reflexology to help bring your pituitary gland back into balance. Keeping a worry stone on you at all times is very beneficial to release worry, stress, or anxiety and become more present in the body and moment.
Shape: A crystal that has been cut into a heart shape.
Energy: love, compassion, empathy, and connection.
How to Use: Heart shaped crystals can be used in any area of your life: pocket, bra, home, crystal grid, altar, and more! It holds the beautiful energy of love and radiates it to resonate with your energy.
Shape: A flat, smooth crystal that is carved into an oval or circular shape.
Energy: Emits energy starting from the center of the crystal and flowing outwardly in every direction.
How to Use: Palm stones get their name from how to use them! They are designed to fit into the palm of your hand. You can use them during meditation, as you are relaxing on the couch or before bed, or on a crystal layout on your body.
Shape: A flat base with four carved equal sides of equal length.
Energy: Pyramids have fascinated humans since ancient civilization and are a sacred shape that is known to amplify energies. The base provides grounding for your intentions, while the pivotal point sends out your intentions to the universe.
How to Use: Place in the center of your crystal grid to amplify your intention and energy. It can also be used during meditation, distance healing, and to create the energy your desire in your home.

Story: Citrine has been one of my go-to stones for a very long time. Its energy is very high vibrational! I have noticed that I resonate with citrine the most during times where I am practicing being more confident and stepping into the unknown, manifesting my dreams, and radiating abundance. Currently during my pregnancy, I have been using it to feel and radiate more confidence in my own skin as my body goes through complete transformation in such a short amount of time. As someone who had an eating disorder at a very young age, old thoughts, beliefs, and feelings about my body began to come up again throughout this journey to meeting our son. Loving myself and my body has been a deep part of this process for me. Citrine has helped bring in the energy of confidence to love my body exactly as it is along the journey.

Fun Fact: Petrified Wood is not a crystal, but actually a fossil! It's believed to be around 200 million years old. Through stages of crystallization, quartz replaced most of the wood. Sometimes you will see other colors in petrified wood such as: red, purple, black, and green. This is due to trace minerals in the quartz such as: iron, manganese, carbon, and chromium.
To Use: To release stagnant or stuck energy in the body, hold onto a petrified wood in one hand during a meditation and repeat "release" with every breath. Watch as the energy is released in that area of your body to feel more whole and light.
