The first five words that come to mind when holding and feeling into the energy of Emerald are: Deep Love, Connection, New Beginnings, Empathy, and Fortune.
Emerald has always had a royal and rich energy to it, like kings and queens are meant to wear it. Emerald reminds us to love ourselves and others unconditionally just as we are. During times of deep activation and healing in my heart space, I have felt deeply called to use emerald. As I hold emerald on my heart, I immediately feel the love within me and all around me. If you are going through a time of deep healing in your heart, I highly suggest you try working with emerald. Try holding it on your heart (skin contact) during a meditation or while you're lying down before bed. Really focus in on your heart and allow yourself to feel all the love.

Precautions: Prolonged sun exposure can damage emeralds vibrant green color, so if you are wanting to cleanse or charge crystals please use another method like sound bowls or sage.
Using soap and water is safe when cleaning emerald, but I wouldn't suggest to use in a crystal elixir or water since it contains aluminum.
