Petrified Wood Meaning and Healing Properties
The first five wordsthat come to mind when holding and feeling into the energy of Petrified Wood are: Grounding, Safety, Presence, Balance, and Transformation.
Story & How To Use:
Petrified Wood is not a crystal, but actually a fossil! It's believed to be around 200 million years old. Through stages of crystallization, quartz replaced most of the wood. Sometimes you will see other colors in petrified wood such as: red, purple, black, and green. This is due to trace minerals in the quartz such as: iron, manganese, carbon, and chromium.
To release stagnant or stuck energy in the body, hold onto a petrified wood in one hand during a meditation and repeat "release" with every breath. Watch as the energy is released in that area of your body to feel more whole and light.

Best crystal book out there!
I have many crystal books and this one by far is my favorite. I love the layout and how it breaks down each type of healing: spiritual, physical, and emotional. I also love the health remedies section and the intuition information as well as the section on using crystals with your pets.
