From one of America’s most celebrated turquoise localities, this exceptional egg showcases the vivid blue turquoise and brilliant metallic pyrite that made Ithaca Peak legendary among collectors.
Originating from the historic Ithaca Peak deposit near Kingman, Arizona, this remarkable piece features rich natural turquoise dramatically intertwined with flashes of brassy pyrite. This striking combination is one of the defining characteristics of fine Ithaca Peak material and has made specimens from the locality highly sought after in the turquoise collecting world.
Polished into a substantial egg, the piece beautifully exposes the natural relationship between turquoise, pyrite, and its host material, creating an intricate landscape that could only have been formed by nature.
