A deposit of 30% takes the piece out of the shop and sets it aside under your name. You pay the balance across the next few months, and when the last payment lands it is packed by hand and sent to you.
Nothing is added on top. There is no interest, no credit check and no lender in the middle of it. It is an arrangement between you and us.
Available on anything over $250
Gwindel Smoky Quartz Specimen - #1
It happens every week. Somebody picks a piece up at a live sale, or stands with it here in the shop, and tells us it is their dream piece. Then they set it back down.
We got tired of watching that. So we started doing plans ourselves. A little down, payments that do not hurt, no interest and nobody else involved.
What changed was the faces. People who thought a piece like that was never going to be theirs, walking out with it.
We do not look at the shelf the same way any more. We are not asking who could afford this. We are asking who has been waiting for it.
What it would come to
Put in the price of the piece you keep thinking about.
A piece at
$
is
$720.00 today,then seven monthly payments of $240.00.
The price is yours to change. Type any figure into the box.
Down payment30% is the minimum. More down means a shorter plan.
How long
Every payment, start to finish
No interest and no fees, so the total stays $2,400.00. Settle it early whenever you like.
Plans begin at $250. Below that, Shop Pay will split an order of $50 or more into four at checkout, at no cost to you.
Request a payment plan
Set it up the way you want and send it over. Nothing is agreed until you have the whole plan in writing.
How a plan works, start to finish
01
We reply with the plan in writing
A real reply from a real person, with the deposit invoice and every payment set out in full. Nothing is charged at this point. If you have changed your mind, say so and that is the end of it.
02
You pay the deposit
30% of the price. This is the moment the piece becomes yours to wait for, and the moment we stop showing it to anybody else.
03
It comes off the shop floor
Out of the listings, out of the live sale rotation, wrapped and labelled with your name on it. Then once a month we send you an invoice for the next payment. There is no date to remember and nothing to set up. It simply needs to be settled before the month is out.
04
It comes to you
The day the final payment clears, it is packed by hand, insured and tracked. Or leave it with us and collect it at the shop on Park Avenue, which we rather prefer, because we like seeing where these pieces end up.
This is the sort of piece people stand in front of twice and walk away from. It does not have to go that way. A deposit takes it off the shelf tonight and the rest arrives a month at a time.
Every piece in the Cabinet can be taken on a plan, and so can almost everything else we sell.
None of this is hidden in a footer. If something here does not suit you, far better that you know it now than later.
The money
To begin
At least 30% of the price. You can put more down if you would rather have a shorter plan. Available on any piece over $250.
How much each month
At least $150, or 10% of the price of the piece, whichever is the greater. That is what keeps a plan short rather than letting it drag on for a year.
When it is due
We send you an invoice at the start of each month and it needs to be settled before that month is out. There is no fixed date to remember.
How long
Seven months at the very most, and usually a good deal less. You can settle it early whenever you like, with nothing to pay for doing so.
Interest and fees
None, at any price. You pay what is on the tag and not a cent more.
The piece
While you are paying
It stays with us, wrapped and set aside with your name on it. It is not listed, not sold at a live sale, and not shown to anyone else.
When it is paid
It ships the day the final payment clears, packed by hand, insured and tracked. Or collect it from the shop on Park Avenue.
If something changes
A month that is difficult
Tell us. We would far rather move a date than lose a customer, and we have done it many times. A message before the invoice is due is all it takes.
The deposit
It is not refundable. It is what allows us to take a piece off the market and stop earning from it, and we would rather say so here than bury it.
If we never hear from you
One reminder, then fourteen days. After that the plan ends and the piece goes back on sale. We keep the 30% deposit, and everything you paid on top of it comes back to you, either as a refund or as store credit, whichever you would rather have. We have never wanted to do this and would always rather you simply told us what was going on.
Before you decide anything
Come and hold it first.
None of this has to be settled over email. The shop is on Park Avenue in Winter Park and the piece you keep thinking about is probably sitting on a shelf inside it. Pick it up. Put it down. Pick it back up again. That usually answers the question better than we can.
And if you are nowhere near Florida, write to us. Ask anything at all before you commit to a single thing.
